How did the human body evolve
Science proves that the human body evolved from a monkey. As shown in this picture, the monkey over time then evolved into a gorilla and then to a human. But why did monkeys and gorillas evolve? This is why many people do not believe in evolution. But the gorillas and monkeys evolved to suit there surroundings better. But not all the gorillas and all the monkeys evolved, some monkeys evolved into gorillas and some didnt. Then over billions of years some gorillas evolved into humans but again not all monkeys and or gorillas evolved. These are some of the things that make some humans think that we did evolve.
1) The coccyx is the remaining part of what was once a human tail. (coccyx being your tail bone) Over time we lost the need for a tail, but we did not lose the need for the coccyx: it now works to give support to the structure of many muscles and a support for a person when they sit down and lean back. The coccyx also supports the position of the anus.
2) Humans also get goose bumps this when we are cold angry or frightened. When we are cold we get goose bumps which trapes air in between the hairs to insulate our body, but over time we have lost need for losts of hair on our body so this no longer works but we still retain the goose bumbs. When we are angry or frightened the hair stands up to make us look scary and frightening towards the enemy. Humans no longer have a benefit from goose bumps. This is another sign that we have evolved.
3) Some animals and all humans have an extra muscle in their ear which enables the ear to move to the direction of the sound that they are hearing. On cats and dogs this is very visible and we still have this muscle but it is no longer needed for us humans so all we can do with this muscle is to make our ear wriggle.
4) The plantaris muscle is what animals use to grip things with their feet. This is something apes will do, being able to pick up objects with their hands and feet. Humans have this muscle as well, but it is now so useless to our body that it is often taken out by doctors when they need tissue for
reconstruction in other parts of the body. These days because this mucsle has no use to us, 9% of people are now born without it.
